It hasn’t been much of a hard knock life for Quvenzhané Wallis, who, at 11 years old, has already conquered Hollywood.

A Louisiana native, she became the youngest actress ever to receive an Oscar nomination in 2013 for her performance in “Beasts of the Southern Wild.”

Since then, she’s appeared in “12 Years a Slave” and become the face of Armani Junior. All the while, she was planning her triumphant return to the screen in Friday’s revamp of the classic musical, “Annie,” also starring Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan and Jamie Foxx as Will Stacks, the updated Daddy Warbucks role.

The Post caught up with Wallis to talk about reinventing the family favorite, hanging with A-listers and growing up in Hollywood.

What’ s the best part about working with Jamie Foxx?

If I was sad, he brought me right back up because he’s a funny guy.

Did Cameron Diaz make you laugh?

Cameron’s really funny, and she’s like a mother to me. It’s really funny how she changes characters on set. She goes from all nice to like a rude person, like, “You little rat!” Like, she’s yelling at us.

Were you scared when she was yelling?

No, we would laugh!

Oh, so it was hard to keep a straight face?

Yes. If you look at the scene that they actually put in, you can kind of see that I was kind of smirking. All the other ones, she’d go, “You little rats!” and I would go, “Hahahaha!”

Do you like getting dressed up for the red carpet?

I like getting dressed up, but not, like, [playing] dress-up in my room — I don’t go to my room and put on a fashion show. I just go in my room and [play] Minecraft.

When you were at all the awards shows for “Beasts,” you always had a puppy purse. Do you still like those?

Yes, but when I heard I could bring my dog Sammy with me [to the “Annie” set], I brought him instead.

What was your favorite moment at the Oscars?

I went to my seat and the two men that were behind me were Denzel Washington and Jamie Foxx.

Have you seen any of Denzel’s movies?

I’ve seen some of them while I’m trying to find Disney Channel on TV, and he’s on FX, and I watch it for like two commercials’ worth and then I just move.

When you’re older, do you think you’ll still want to be an actress?

I will be acting, and I will also be a veterinarian.

How come?

Because I like animals, and all animals are adorable. You have to admit it.

I admit it.

[Claps.]

Favorite animal besides dogs?

Polar bears. I got so scared when I heard they were getting instinct [sic]. I got really scared.

Well, maybe you can save them someday. I hear you met Beyoncé at one of her concerts.

She was really fun and really nice, and she had [daughter] Blue Ivy backstage. Blue Ivy was so cute. She saw my phone, and it was like a bumblebee — it had wings and everything. And Blue Ivy goes, “Bumblebee!” And I was like, “How did you know that!? I didn’t know that when I was a baby — which you are.”
